Students within the Livestock Production program obtain practical expertise with the University livestock herds. Tech-owned beef cattle, swine, goats, sheep, and horses are utilized in lab classes, and plenty of lessons and labs are held in varied barns on Tech Farm. Field journeys to experience livestock operations, our meat science lab for instance meat processing, preservation, storage, and utilization, and organizations similar to Block and Bridle add depth and diversity.
