Applicants have to be Texas residents, have a rural farming or ranching background, and be graduating highschool with a cumulative GPA of three.0 or larger. Along with the completed utility, candidates must submit an official transcript, one letter of recommendation, and a 500-word essay describing future profession plans after graduation. The MU Division of Animal Sciences has 29 ranked faculty members with responsibilities in research, instructing, extension and economic development.
